How far do we take the rules

This is a big question,

How far do we take the rules at league level.

What ever ideas people come up with, have got to be the same across all the leagues in oxford, So will prob mean a AGM between all comitee members of all leagues.

I think that there is no need to move the white with the cue so why not be a foul, also there is no need to stop the white going in to the pocket, ( Maybe lost of frame is harsh. maybe a foul should be called, but do we start changing the rules)

But i have seen people stop the white going in the pocket and hit other balls with there hands or with the white. plus people claming there moving the white when they have actully miss cued, so these rules stops all these problems.

Personally I think it would have been nice to have seen the old Bapto rules stay in place with 2 ammendments.

1 Break changed to no ball potted open table, ball potted nominate a colour, if its the set you potted no need to pot if not then still require a pot or its back to open table. In off only one visit but with a free ball option. In essence the world rules break appart from the in off free ball

2 Hitting a cushion if you are not attempting to pot a ball. Julian left a ball in the jaws of the corner pocket last night and I had to call a fould as it missed the cushion yet he played this ball from 2 feet away (rather unlucky to say the least)

I understand the bite from this kind of spider is quite deadly unless you are lucky enough to have an antidote with you.
