David Murphy?

I used to kind of know him quite a few years ago (maybe mid to late nineties), and I'm trying to track him down and see if he's still about.

All I know if that he just to play for the Crown House, he was pretty good so I thought he would still be playing in a league in Oxford, but I can't see his name mentioned anywhere.

Anyone know if he's still around? Thank you

p.s Not a stalker, just want to see if he's still around

It could be him, I'm think he had a brother called John.

Thanks anyway, it was a long shot and it's not important just wondered what he was up to. I'm sure I'll bump into him one day

"I used to coach him years ago"

He had a coach! No wonder he always beat me!

Thanks again.

Well i know a Dave/David Murphy and he drinks now across the road from the Crown House Club, in the Black Swan, he used to work for BT and run a football team the Cowley Workers fc 25+ years ago, i still see him about often enough and he drinks reguarly in the Black Swan, think he may be in there Pub Quiz team, if it is the same DM your after i'd say Dave is 50+ years in age with a Balding Head. Nice Bloke Dave, could this be the same person your after?

There is also a player called Murphy at the Black Boy playing with Stuart Bell, Ade Cox and a couple of others. I think his name is Den but not 100% sure but juding by malc post I reckon the age may be a little off unless he coached him when he was very young.

Hello Mr Sharky!

Back living in Oxford, or Bicester to be precise...

...Devon's cider reserves have gone dry!

Well, that's splendid news. Might have a space for you in a pool team if you fancy it? smile

Welcome Back Johny C.

Its a shame you could not have come up for the county trials 25/3/07 judging by past performances you would have been a good addition if you were successful.

Will you be back playing in the Oxford Pool leagues or stay in the Bicester ones that seem to fancy EPA rules more than Blackball ?

Well thank you kindly Mr Beef!

Nice to see you're still using that failed evaluation copy of SpellCheck! Ha!

I'll still turn up at some county matches mate, I'll sink a few with the troops and cheer our boys and girls on!

And as for the team situation, it depends on a few variables...
...such as work, transport and who's got the cheapest booze! Hooray!

I look forward to playing with and/or against you all in the very near future!

Cheers!
