Welcome to the new pool forum for the Oxfordshire County Pool federation, and local Oxfordshire pool leagues.


Got a question about pool in Oxford? Want to comment on a match? Want to comment on the content of the website? Just want to say 'hello' to other pool players in Oxford?


My aim as webmaster is to promote healthy discussion amongst visitors to the site. Have YOUR say by starting a thread today!


It should be noted that any offensive posts will be deleted immediately and that the views expressed (including those by myself) are personal views, and not necessarily the views of any organisation that person may represent.

As you can see, i've played around with the layout and changed the forum to a multi-layered board. This should make it easier to get to the category you want to look at, though it may take a bit of getting used to!


All the original forum topics can be found in the main area, but I would be grateful if you could start posting in the correct area of the main page from now on, so I can eventually delete the old posts.

Please note that i currently have no access to my emails and am unable to update the website. This is due to an ongoing problem with my new PC. I hope to resolve these issues by next week. I also have very limited access to this forum, via my mobile phone, so would be grateful if my Moderator's could keep an extra eye open. Thanks, ash.

Just a reminder that any post made on here should not be offensive to others and any comments made are yours and not necessarily indicative of the views of other members.

If you have a complaint about a specific pub/club, then it might be better to raise it with the venues manager first, before posting it on here as the venue's business may be affected as a result, and the Forum will not be responsible for any action taken as a result of posts by members.

For example, if you have a complaint about Colours, see Jimmy, or use the Riley's website.

Ash Is there a way this can be put on the main page rather than burried in the deapths of a thread which most people do not read that often ?

Secondly a warning to all....

Beefy, I don't think that there is any more relevant a place than in the section on the forum entitled:

Welcome to the Forum
ALL NEW USERS SHOULD ENSURE THEY READ THE TOPICS IN THIS SECTION

It was just re-iterating what, I would have thought to most people, was common sense. If I was to nanny everyone and put up little warning messages in their own special section to every little thing, then the forum would resemble the front gates of Area 51. hmm

However, I have cleared out a bit of the crap that was in this thread to leave only the important stuff.

I was simply suggesting that maybe the front page with the topics would have been a good place so it is on permenant display.

Just to say 'Happy Birthday' to the Forum which celebrated its 5th birthday a few days ago. I hope it is providing entertainment and information and promoting healthy discussion amongst its ever growing membership.

Thanks to all our members for its continuing success, and I'd like to encourage all of you who look at its contents anonymously to sign-up and join in the debates.
