EGM - County 'C' Team - Manager/Captain

EGM

Due to the number of fixtures and the fact that a number of Men's matches will see the teams at different venues, it has been decided to create a 'C' Team Manager/Captain

Responsibilities are:

Picking the side along with existing Men’s Managers and Youth team Manager

Contacting squad members about C-Team games.

Ensuring transport to away matches (Liaising with Treasurer regards costs)

Captaining the side on the day (ie paper work, stats, money etc)

Active membership of OCPF committee.

Anyone can be proposed for this position.  The position comes with squad membership (not necessarily a guaranteed playing spot) but the position means you will not really be able to play for any other side during qualifying season, and if not selected for a match will still have to carry out the role. 

Anyone interested should contact me by Friday, I will publish nominations on Saturday.

If you require more information on the role contact John Kinsey (07880 723844) I will announce any nominee’s online on Friday. 

If more than one then there will be a vote at Sunday’s squad day (12@colours).  Anyone (whether squad or not) wanting to vote but cannot make Sunday can vote by emailing or texting me.

The 2 candidates are; Steve Lakeman and Mark Trafford

Voting will take place at Colours at 12noon, or by text on 07977 078192. People voting by text must include their name

Congratulations to steve on becoming C team manager/captain. I'm sure you will do a fantastic job.

Remember at committee meetings, mines a chicken and mushroom!
