I'm sure there is loads of people that play internet Poker that use this forum.
So I thought it would be a good idea to put a thread about Internet Poker.
Maybe put who you play with (if that's allowed) and if you have had any bad beats.

I Started on Coral but stopped playing on there after a really bad beat in a big Multi-table comp to qualify for T.V stages. Was in last 70 off a 700 people comp

I had A-K suited and raised, got called. A-K-7 comes down so I raised all in and the person calls me with 7-2 off suite. Next 2 cards comes 2-7 making them a full house. furious.giffurious.gif

Now play pacific poker, must have about 5 times the money I started with because of winnings, good for high or low stake games.

Now also started playing with Sun Poker, so will give further comment in the future.

furiousMyself and my younger brother have several accounts on sunpoker, each of them recieving their rake back at the end of every month plus entries into various tournaments (sponsored by sunpoker) we got free sunpoker coats, t-shirts and capssmile  and they value Tom's business so much that after one particularly bad day he threatened to withdraw all his money and close his accounts.....they gave him £200 just to stay on sunpoker!!biggrin  he also plays on the crypto logic  dream team

some of this months results are:  4th in the £4K gtd (£640)  1st,3rd,7th and 7th in a couple of the £1.5k gtd's (1st place picking up £500)  a few decent results in a few of the £2k gtd's  and the night before going to selsey i came 4th in the £12k gtd (£941)  should have won it (£3500) but my pre-flop raised kk got rumbled by some donkey on Ace 6!!!!!  Ben Scott found it funny, i was slightly less amusedfurious

I saved about £400 last night by not going online and losing it all on poker.

Poker is really not my game!  "Whoopee 2 Aces!, I mean, oh I wish I could get a decent hand......ALL IN!!!!"

An A6 with 4 players is a pretty decent hand, can't really complain about that !

Ah Boofington once again we find you posting on topics, your knowledge of which could comfortably fit on one side of a postage stamp with room to rattle.

I dont/havnt given up my day job for the simple fact that i very much enjoy it and you can never guarantee a poker win, there good/bad.........and 5hit ways to play poker which is why us good players win consistently, patience is the key my friend.......patience.......ummm........better look it up m8.  i would also like to add for your benefit Boofington that if i had not gone to work at all this year so far, i would have still been living comfortably paying my rent and more than enough money for a few beerswink

and dont count TV out just yet,  Caribbean poker classic qualifiers start v.soon,  was one card away last year  (yes that is typical of online poker)

Whats the matter rammy have I rattled your cage or something never mind mate. I would love to see one of our local boys reach a TV stage of a competition but it seems most shows I have watched on the game only show later stages so how far did you get if you were onne card short last year ?

Came 3rd in the NTX £2k GTD tonight Ben £300, still cant take an NTX winners title to match Tom's from january tho :(     have a look at the lobby,  aq busts my 55, should've played for second place really, other guy was massively shortstacked! trouble was i was more interested in the title than the money! whoops.blankstare

PoolQueen From Abingdon was a name that flashed up on SKY Poker on sky channel 415, Was that the Mighty Hazel, and If it was what did you win,

I only just turned it on as it flashed of the screen.

Didn't expect a bite that quick you know I am only joking your 3rd in our rankings becuase Kev has played less games.

You will have a chance to go Second on Monday if Kev loses or it not available.

Hey Queenie, how did your whopping £28 buy in tourney go??

Steve/Ben  etc,  if you check the sunpoker main lobby you will see that myself and Tom hav qualified for sunday's gold cup series of poker main event where the buy in alone is £1,050  and the prize pool is a guaranteed £225,000  with an estimated 80 players, winner recieving a guaranteed £60,000

 Had to beat off competition from the likes of   ClintonO,  SUN_DESHI,  Onny87,  Costy,  Owlsrgud2  and evenhad the priviledge of knocking out the mighty ThierryH  along with about 50 others

 So  i  might have to play first to this sunday and leave Hazel,  except this tournament is something to get excited about!!!wink
