GWR 'A' beat GWR 'B' 2-1 tonight.

Stewart Clarke was first and lost 3-0 to Dave Crawford. Then Ian Clarke put on an awesome display of potting to beat Jez Thompson 3-0.

So it was all up to me to play Rob Allsworth in the decider and luckily I held my form of the week and beat him 3-0.

Final here we come. wink (I hope).

A good win after a very tight first game, I don't think I have ever seen a player play so many plant shots in a game before, but finally he's luck ran out and I wraped up a win and left him counting 7 biggrin.gif.

Tonight's Team Knockout Final selection for the Osney Arms "A" team, will be announced sometime this afternoon due a casualty, Sad and a late fitness test to one of the players. (watch this space)

 

The match which kicks off around 8.15pm this evening (Tuesday 23rd October 2007) is taking place at The Hollybush Inn (Botley Road) between the current league champions The Osney Arms "A" and The GWR Staff Association Club "A" who finished in a respectable 4th place, maybe Pool Queen will announce the GWR's team later. wink

Sadly as in the tuesday rules page 3, you must of played in 1 league game,biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

Breaking news:

 

Jamey Street Osney Arms "A" Top Player for 2007 season has confirmed the he WILL be attending this evening final.


Jamey a potential "future" Osney Arms captain, (Yes MING has convinced me that in the distant future "around 35-40 years" that I may have to step down and back into the vice captain role) came joint with Mr Crawford (personally Dave I don't know after Sundays game wink) in this seasons MOST WINS and has a lot of responsibility on his young shoulders in this evenings match.  biggrin
