Four separate qualifiers are taking place at Colours, Oxford on
Saturdays 24th November, 1st/8th/15th December from 2.30pm.
Winner of each qualifying event wins £100 and qualifies for £1000 Midlands Area Final at Rileys Coventry on 22nd December. First round losers go into Plate competition the winner of which also qualifies for Area Final (i.e. 8 players will qualify for Area Final over the four qualifying events).
£10 to enter. Must be 10 entrants for event to go ahead. You can enter each event unless you have already qualified. Open to non-members. Played to EPA World Rules.

Not Many, there was a lot of byes and then if you lost your seccond round match you still get to play in the plate, that proves how few people there was.

Nobody went through today as only 4 of us turned up and Jimmy wouldn't allow it to run (such a decent chap) Probably my fault as the lads that turned up to all the other events heard I was playing and bottled it!

Story of the whole competition Isty, only 1 World Rules county player turned up to the first 3 events. Event 1 -15, Event 2 - 11, Event 3 - 10;

No comments on here about the finals what happened to the people that went ?
Jimmy I believe, got beat 3-2 in the semi's.
I couldn't get the time off work
King Gee couldn't av done much or he'd be on here

Thats unlucky if he lost in the semi's still a good performance. May be someone will put something on the rileys site. I didn't bother as I was on holiday for the finals and last event so I didn't see the point would of otherwise.
