John Higgins v Matthaw Stevens 1st round match should be a good game,

Looking at the draw and were the form players have been this year,
Shun Murphy & Mark Selby 1/4 final might be on with Steven Maguire in semi for the bottom half. That is were my thoughts(curse) are going for winners.

Willams at 40/1 sounds a good bet for his class. The bookies must know something to put him that high...

now this may sound stupid but don't count out the boring, un-entertaining player in the game Peter Ebdon, when he cues well their isn a player better. Just think Mark Selby is the future

You never count out the old Guard, But Jamie Cope then maybe Mark Selby, you would think might take Ebdon out the way he has played this year.
But that top half is so full off big names, any body in the bottom half must fancy there chances, Looking at the draw even Wee Dott. But i'm sure Easy Dolla will tell us all

Graeme Dott's the best outside bet IMHO, as he's won it before and the little bugger is so difficult to shake off in longer frame matches - especially at 50/1 on SkyBet... smile

Just remember....For the last couple of seasons the "in-form" players always seem to crash out in the first round.

My money is on the elite...

Ronnie O'Sullivan OR Ken Hoherty

Outsiders..

Matthew Stevens (wander what the odds are seeing as he has Higgins in first round)
Stephen "ON FIRE" Maguire

With the last comp of the season before the worlds going on at the moment. What form are the players in,
1st round losers, Hendry(1-5), Ronnie loses 4-5 playing Marco Fu
2nd round losers, Ebdon(2-5) playing Mark Williams, Fu 3-5 Selby,
Quater Finals makes Higgins V Selby a good match and might effect the World's Odds for the winner, Also features Maguire and Williams v Day
If Mark Williams finds any form then 40/1 is huge, Especally as Ronnie seems to be in trouble again with the powers to be.

My heart always lies with ronnie, when his head is on properly he is a step up from the rest. That said Selby doesn't look like losing atm, not to anything less than ronnie's best and is clearly a solid bet.
It's hard to pick a winner or even semi-finalists since the standard is so good now and literally any of the players involved could have a good run.
(secretly i'd love stephen lee to do well, he is so class)

Mark Sleby was 6/1 for worlds yesterday and after his win today which he out played John Higgins, He will no doubt be much shorter, But Murphy and Maguire are still playing well in china and are in the same side of the Draw as Selby, i think it might be a case of puting 5 names in the hat and picking 1.

oh yeah those not so mighty blues won didn't they.
Unlucky, but i can say i am sick to death of hearing that liverpool are one of the big four.
They are not and have not been for 2-3 years now.
There are only 3 big teams these days.
So milhouse if your scouse retards did win, it wouldn't of been anything special

2-3 years now, Let me see Champions league winners, Super Cup Winners, F.A Cup Winners, Then Champions League Runners up, Also a League cup Runners up in that time as well.
Question: why won't Sir Alex retire yet because he knows if he don't get above Liverpool in the league titles table he has been a faliure, Liverpool won 4 Europen cups in there era, Man Utd 1, What load of Rubbish.
Big 4 is wrong, It's Liverpool then the rest, Liverpool are the number 2 ranked team in the whole of Europe, Behind AC Mlian,
