Darren, you should try advertising this on the Bicester site - http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=107308&p=1
That's where World Rules players are. Most on this site are blackball players.

Cheers Hazel.  This is a blackball event, but obviously world rules players are welcome as a few have already entered.

Just as long as they remember the deliberate foul of hitting a ball that is not yours or not making an attempt at a legal shot is loss of frame !

According to the blackball rules that ive read it can only be a loss of frame foul if you make no attempt to play a ball from your own group.

I am not sure if quoting Andy Lucas's name was a smart thing to do if your looking for entries....

Well for £20 you get the chance to have a good day out, some great pool, chance to meet and play new people (and some very good players who would normally only enter bigger events) and maybe even a shot at some prize money!!

Bargain really.

I don't know about that but he was the youth world champion and is a potting machine once he gets going. One for the future if he can take his youth game into the mens forum with similar success.

Rebecca Osbourne, Craig Lakin and Tony Fry now all in so we're pushing towards the 32 player mark.

Looking likely to be a good day out with good quality pool.  Looking forward to meeting a few new faces myself and playing some people ive never had the pleasure of facing.

Remember if you wake up Saturday morning and fancy it send me a text before 11am and i'll put you in the draw ;)

It was a great day in Coventry and a big thanks to all who attended. Very good tables, nice venue (must be one of the midlands best), great standard of pool, good match distances (best of 13s), no one waiting around the games (they rarely do at our comps anyway) and prize money paid to the top 8 in main event (£200 winner) and the plate winner. Didnt hear one complaint all day. Will definitely be going back.

Well done to Mark White for winning yet another PPP event, and unlucky to the Derbyshire duo of Lakin and Whelan who made the Semis.

Did you get anyone from Oxford in the end, Lifeizfab?

If not, we still appreciate you spending the time to advertise your tournaments on the site, so keep on doing it!
