I got off to a SHOCKING start last night against Nathan;

Nathan Ball 10-1 Ash Fletcher

Fair play to Nathan, he played OK but nothing spectacular (no break and dishes for example). I was just blinking awful. I've rated my performance in the various crucial aspects of the game below:

Potting: 0 out of 10
Positioning: 0 out of 10
Safety play: 0 out of 10
Tactics: 0 out of 10
Breaking: 0 out of 10
Ability to pot a simple black: 0 out of 10
Haircut: 0 out of 10
Temperment: Well, at least I didn't lose my temper!

My next match? Well, I bet Scooby is quaking in his boots! hmm

Always thought that one would be close!!

Myself and the mighty Ming played our match on Monday and I managed to blag a win.

Lee Challis 10 - 6 Kev McIlroy. 

I think I was lucky that he had been up until 4am that morning drinking!! (that is just normal match prep for you though Kev!)

It was a very enjoyable match and played in good spirit (even though we both wanted to win!).

Thanks Kev for a great afternoon, it was nice to play you again mate.  It was good to see you haven't lost your "Lock down" methods...

Tom, I have to admit, this is looking like being a great event and I am pleased that you took the punt to run this.

Result from last night

Easy Dolla 3 - 10 Jamey street

After going 2-0 down just having one shot( the break ) i feared the match may be over in half a hour but after that the match was pretty scrappy but fair play to jamey he played by far the better and my thoughts are the same as the chin, a well run event and just what oxford needed.. nice one tom.... i just hope i win a match by december ???????????????

There aren't enough hours in the day for you to play more than one match, unless of course you follow in the footsteps of several chess Grandmasters and attempt to play several games all at once!

3 Break & Dishesno, 2 Dishes from my breaks, 3 if you count the frame i which i got 2 single shots (outta snookers) after he'd potted 4 balls and later where he didn't miss a ball in 5 frames.disbelief
