I was going to propse the possibility of new shirts for the start of the 2009/10 county season, but I left my images at home and didn't bring it up.
I was just wandering how many people (if anybody) would be interested in ordering some OCPF hoodies. Obviously, the money will have to come out of our pockets, but the more people that are interested the cheaper the hoodies will be (if we get it as part of a bulk deal)
I'm sure hoodies would be a hit with most of the youths and ladies, but the men are probably "too cool" to be wearing that? Would be nice to take to Selsey aswell next year when ALL of our teams get there!!
Just to let you know I've been looking at this for a while, and discussed it with the OCPF committee a while ago, who thought it would be a good idea.
I have managed to get a deal of £20 a hoody, with our logo embroidered on the front with a name underneath, and something like 'Oxfordshire county pool team' screen printed across the back.
I've spoken about it to some of the ladies who are up for it, and I was going to offer it more widely at this next county match and throught texts. There has been some dispute as to colour, so I have managed to get the same price if they are a variety of colours. Dark colours would have white print, and light colours dark blue print.
Colours available are: navy sky blue royal blue pink white bottle green bright green black red yellow olive grey and he's said that if there's another specific colour you're after he can probably get hold of it.
Also, Lauren mentioned the idea of having a sort of roll-call on the back, like:
Oxfordshire county women's (or youth or whatever) pool team in big letters Then in smaller letters Nicki Hoskins Jaz Venning etc etc.
These would cost a little more at £25 but could be included in the order if people wanted them. He's happy for the order to be mix and match so that you can order whatever you want.

Well, I'm guessing they do pink as pink is on the list of colours available. :D.
I personally think the best idea would be to have the logo and a name on the front like the shirts, and then OXFORDSHIRE on the back. Its simple and not to complicated. Having Oxfordshire County Youth Pool Team on the back with a name may be bit crowded.

Does that sound OK?
Do they do pink ones for coles and co
not in county m8 altho if i chuck joe 20 i rekon we cld get me a pink 1 cheekily haha
Nah, I def think Oxfordshire should be on back, with name on front. Then when your walking around nationals everyone knows who you are because you have OCPF on front, or even oxfordshire, and oxfordshire on back. I'd def rather have oxfordshire on back than Joe Thomas.
Colzy shall we get hoodies for Rileys Gay Boys? Pink? Lol

Well done Nicki - I'd forgotten you'd started looking into this.
I don't fancy paying more to have a list of other people's name on my back - not that I don't luv you all!! My preference is for OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY POOL (do we need the word team? not sure we do) on the back and name/ocpf wherever on the front. Which is basically what you're proposing.
Is there a website so I can see what the shades of colour look like? Pink jokes aside I am still considering having mine in pink - but then I'm a girl. And shades of pink do vary between putrid and cute!!!

I fancy a pink hoodie but agree with Jaz on the shade! Also think it should say Oxfordshire County Pool Team on the back Logo and Name on the front like the shirts. Oh Sarah wants a red Hoodie as for Carrie well depends if she can part with her current Nike Hoodie, lol
Its going to be difficult getting everyone to agree on what we have. If you have names on the back then you end up thinking of a nickname that no one actually calls you. Just seems bit pointless in my opinion. I think it shoud be consistent design with shirts. Logo with name underneath on front. Oxfordshire County Pool on the back or just Oxfordshire Pool.
Oxford are dark/navy blues and it'll help with the stinky youths who only wash once a month, if that
just Oxfordshire on the back as everyone knows we playin pool and the county logo and name on front

I probably could think of something to go on the back but I don't really see the point in having a name that no one ever calls you on the back of your jumper in huge letters. You can always have a nickname on the front can't you. What you going to put on the back of yours then Jamie?

joe " good at pool " thomas ??? .... oooops sorry captain xxxxx
Ok, ill start calling you the racker from now on then. Lol. I don't mind whether we have Oxford or Name. Lets just get them sorted. Maybe I could have 'The Next McIlroy' as you quite kindly compared me to him.
The reason that it was going to have 'Oxfordshire County Pool Team' on the back was because I imagine most people will wear them when they're not actually playing, since we're not allowed to wear them when playing county matches anyway....
I will be ordering some like that (logo and name embroidered on front, 'Oxfordshire County Pool Team' screen printed on back, variety of colours) for whoever wants them. If people want something different then let me know and I can see if the guy will be able to do them. Or alternatively I can do the women's ones and someone else can organise the rest.
I think this is most likely to please the most people. But it may be possible to get nicknames on the back if people want them, they just won't match all the others.

Sounds good though im stuck on colour-Pink sounds good but as mentioned it would depend on the shade of pink! Or just plain and simple navy blue as the shirts are?? Hard decision to make. Am now not too keen on the roll-call idea so it covers the whole County Team rather than just the women!
