Results from yesterdays summer singles open held at the oracle

Losing semi finalists

Karl Walker (beat by Nick Mansell sorry don't know the score)

Pete McConochie (beat by Keith Hollis 4-3)

Runner Up

Keith Hollis

Winner

Nick Mansell

Well done Nick who pulled out a quality finish in the last frame to win 5 - 2 although the scoreline does not reflect how close this match was with both of us missing guilt edged chances along the way.

Nick played really well yesterday. He knocked me out 3-0 in the quarter final, he didn't give me much of a chance. Well done to my ex youth team player. wink

He wasn't the only one out till three ! I just had a bot more sense than to go to places you get bottled on the dance floor - ask Richard Saunders.....

Yes, well done Nick and Beefy for reaching the Final (Nick beat Karl 4-2 in semi by the way)

A good day all round, nice to see a few upsets, same again next year. and Cue Case incident resolved.

Nice to see very good turn out at AGM wilth all but 2 entries received on day. (Fixtures/Cards done and will be at printers on Weds)

Well done also Pete Maconochie, who won the KOS delayed Winter Singles, beating Chris Webb 5-3 in Final (i'd better win it again next year, as he starting to catch me up on title wins)
