I think the two semi finals will be Mr K McIlroy vs Adam Luck, and P.Maconochie Vs N.Mansell (summer singles champ). I think the final will be Kev, if he's not smashed by the time he plays, with Pete who will hammer in by straight frames.

I think whats more interesting is the split

9 Prem
6 Div 1
and one unknown in T Woolley

Are the lower division players entering ? If not may be its time to have 2 singles comps top with a second shiled for the bottom 2 sections only...

I agree with 3 of the 4 but Simon/Pete/Keith could go any way really.

Well thats the obvious choices, but it rarely works that way, look at last years semis, Chris Webb, Me, Pete and J.Hall!

So my prediction for the semis is (after matty beats adam and I beat Matty in the quarters for the second year in a row!)biggrin

What is interesting about the split?  Surely the players in the prem and section one are of a better standard.

Do you mean entering or showing up?  Looking at the draw, there were a fair amount of players who entered from the lower sections.  At my venue last week , it was a very poor turnout and two players that didn't show were from the Midget C.  I don't think its just the lower section players not showing up.  However that's only the story from one venue.
