That was the plan but they don't always come off. She played awesome though she did have a massive fluke in the decider at the end of the frame which won it for her (not that I'm making excuses).

Yeah Nicki was a bit crippled for our match (dropped a drawer on her foot?!), respect to her for coming to play it anyway though.

There was an in-off black form Nicki in one of the frames too, so actually the match was closer than the scoreline suggests.

The other semi was rearranged - bet the reason for that wasn't as good as Nicki's - and she played anyway!

Er, are you having a go Barney? blankstare

Nicki got hold of me at 7pm when I was just in the middle of bolting down my dinner to come and play.

She did ask if we could rearrange and I said I was kind of psyched up and ready to play it. I said I wanted to play it that night but if she really couldn't then I would reluctantly play it the following week. Nicki said she'd play and so we did.

In my view there is too much rearranging going on in the leagues at the moment, for those of us playing Mon/Tues/Thurs/Singles league it becomes a logistical nightmare.  People are cancelling just for the sake of it, and its not fair on their opponent. I am not saying this applies in Nicki's case, as clearly she had a fair reason to ask, but in most other matches being played here there and everywhere it does.
