Firstly thanks to all those that took part and supported Oxfordshire at this weekends National County Finals ... another brilliant weekend for Oxfordshire.
Huge congratulation to Oxford B ... winning their event for the first time. After going 8-1 down in the final, the come back was awesome ... eventually overpowering last years champions Warwickshire 14-12.
Oxford Youth were excellent again reaching the Final of the youth event. Oxford C lost a last frame decider in the Semi finals of the C event to the eventual winners, Hamps C. The Over 40's lost a tight semi final in their event.
Absolutely bloody awesome!!! well done u lot!!.About time the B team won it.Lol at them singing that song at u then getting beat.Pride comes before a fall and all that....

It was just typical of Warwuickshire as well ! They were ****y in the bar at 3am giving it everything and personally it was great when Oxford rammed it all back in their faces
I also believe there was an incident outside with Martin Rowland but I don't know which team caused it Thankfully it didn't turn into something serious.

You were absolutely fantastic all weekend, and your comeback was something really quite special indeed. An absolute thriller
I really enjoyed being there to cheer you all on to victory, and I'm very proud of being part of such a fantastic county which is now awash with national titles!
It was also good to see the more attacking players such as rhys, Dan Durham and Kenny Broster using their noggins and playing some great tactical pool.

Great weekend, well done lads so proud of you all, so glad I was there to support with all the others, I would not have wanted to be anywhere else.
Bring on 2011 and Oxfordshire defending their title cannot wait although I think we should invest in a megaphone next year just to save our voices. I am sure Jaz and Karima would agree after all the shouting we had to do.
After the A team triumphing last season but not participating at this years event, one of the teams had to stand up and make sure we brought home a trophy! Enter the B team. Congrats to all of you on your fantastic achievement!! Brilliant result!! "8 - 1 up and you fcuked it up!!"
The Youths managed to get past their standard semi-final finish but unfortunately were beaten by the best team in the competition, Warwickshire. The semi-final was a cracking result, spanking last years Champions Derbyshire 11 - 5. The final was a bit of an anti-climax with it being played out on 4 tables it was over so quick, still, well done to all the Youths we had a cracking weekend with some top, top banter!!
Massive thanks to those who supported the B Team this weekend especially Emma, Jaz and Karima who watched/cheered/shouted at every game.Cant believe John drove down on Sunday morning for 9am to cheer all sides on - Not many people would have done that.
It was a great team effort by the Bs and everyone played a part.Everyone in the team reacted positively after the opening match and defeat by Middlesex. We played some impressive stuff after that sole defeat and winning a group of 7 teams was bloody good going.
The comeback in the final was BRILLANT and the noise during the last half an hour of that match by the Oxfordshire support was deafening!
Well done to the Youth on getting to the final and a big well done to Tim on his commitment and effort over the last 4 years as Youth Team Manager.
