Of course, we should be the 'A' Team having represented Riley's, albeit at their other club until it closed down, for many years - unlike other recent arrivals. I'll try not to get too upset though. wink

No change to our team for the forthcoming season, except JFK is captain instead of myself.

Update:

The old Riley's "A" Team have now become The Catherine Wheel ("A" I assume) with a new captain in Jason "Scooby" Buck who retains Nathan Ball, and Mathew Challen, but also gains 2 top players such as Rhys Freemire and Tom Williams, so the word is out that this IS a serious title contending team for this seasons premiership.

That's the spirit Ash,would I be talking about anybody else,have to say it looks like the chances of us repeating last years double are getting slimmer by the minute,with all the uncertainty surrounding our squad I'll be happy just to get a side out,but being a good sport I'd still offer you the chance of taking advantage of us when we are down,so how about it Mr Fletch a small side bet on league positions?

Another "PREMIER" team strengthened, but we are also currently negotiating a "TOP" signing to, so we WILL be making a challenge to defend our 2009/2010 TITLE.

1. Have the usual entries of 49 ?.

2. Or has the NEW secretary managed to secure more ?.

3. And where are the elusive "old" Riley's "A" playing ?. wink

I can'twait to see how the Premier Section will line up for 2010/2011.

      Good mews (at least for us) the medical results have just beenemailed over and reads that the playeris 100% fitto take part in this seasons premier challenge, so it's over to captain streety to announce the team/squad for Riley's (Cowley) Snooker Club "A".

After about five years of negotiations i can confirm that Tom Weeks has finally agreed to join us,needless to say we are over the moon and hopefully Tom can help us to retain last years double,the rest of the team/squad remains the same,although we are in need of a cue/trophy carrier,so anybody wanting to get there hands on some silverware please forward your CV to Malc and he will get back to you.
