When is Graham/Nicki v Emma/Lee being played?

As Browny and I are all ready to go for playing the next round on Monday...

As this will be a quarter final, is it to be played at crown house? Or is that only on Thursdays?

Not sure on a date for the match you're talking about (text Nicki?), but it's only the Semis and Finals at the Crown House, so your match is at Riley's.

Jaz & Browny 3-0 Benny & Emma

We were aided by having the first crack at every frame, and with Browny and I potting well unfortunately they had little chance to do much but try and keep us from finishing.  Well played Browny - I'm looking forward to the next round!

Pity I missed the black in the second for our first scotch dish!!

Looks from the schedule that both semi and final of mixed doubles are being played tonight at crown house.  Is it an early start then to allow time for both matches?

Can someone let me and the other pairs know? Otherwise I'll assume 8pm

Bumped into Ming this morning. He and Michelle beat Malc and Hazel, and Browny and Jaz beat John and Conny. Both 4-1 I believe. The final is to be played on another date.

 Yeah, wasn't a classic match between us and John/Conny tbh. Browny potted well on occasion to get out of the trouble I'd put him in (including the last black) but in general the frames were quite bogged down with neither pair finishing with a good clearance.  4-1's a bit flattering to us, but I'll happily take our spot in the final!!

Jaz & Browny won 5-1 A much better performance from us in the final. Again not many big clearances, until the last frame where we cleared up in one visit. Played some decentish safety shots and I got to pot all the blacks so can't complain. Well done partner - very happy with that performance
