Please note the following positions will be up for election at the 2011 AGM
Current position holder shown in brakcets

Chairman (Ben Scott, vacant)
Player Rep (Ben Scott, will be vacant)
Secretary (Jaz Venning, restanding)
Treasurer (Keith Hollis, restanding)
Ladies Assistant Manager (Vacant)*
Seniors Manager (Dave Crawford, restanding)

Additionally there will be re-elections for Mens C team captain, and Senior B captain (currently Jamie Saczak and Shelley James). These positions will however remain non-committee positions.

*We intend to restructure the ladies committee positions to bring them in line with the current mens structure, Nicki Kinsey will continue to run the Ladies team until 2012 as elected in 2010, but her title will change to Ladies Manager, to reflect the role she is already doing. The vacant position of Manager, as left by Shelly White mid-season, will be retitled Ladies Assistant Manager.

There will be no Ladies B team captain, unless this is deemed necessary in the event of both Ladies managerial positions being occupied by A team only players.

Where I am currently uncertain if the current incumbent intends to restand, I have indicated they will be restanding. Please let me know if these are incorrect.

Anyone, including the incumbent holder, wishing to stand for any of the aforementioned positions should contact the OCPF Secretary prior to the nomination closing date: midnight on Sunday 6th February 2011.

If no nominations are received for positions up for re-election and the incumbent holder is standing for re-election, or where only one nomination is received, said person will be automatically elected/re-elected. Where two or more candidates are standing, an election for said position will take place at the AGM.

Where no nominations are received by the close of nominations date, then the position will become vacant prior to the AGM and nominations for the vacant positions will be accepted up to 5 minutes prior to the AGM.

The names of candidates will be posted on the web by Tuesday 8th February 2011.

Motions for consideration at AGM

Any current OCPF member may propose a motion for consideration at the AGM.

The motion must be received by the Secretary before midnight on Sunday 6th February. Motions should be in writing/email and contain a proposer and seconded by another member. The current committee may at their discretion permit motions received late.

Motions will also be posted on the forum by 8th February.

Please note the position of Chairman will also be vacant from the AGM as Ben Scott will not be restanding.

I haven't received many nominations yet for these positions. If you want to have your say on the committee and any county issues then come forward and get involved!

Hi all. Remember its the ocpf AGM this Sunday!!

Motions
  • Review of membership fees
  • C team captain to be a committee position
  • Venue proposal from the Crown House
We also have the following committee positions automatically elected (only one nominee):
Chairman - Sheree Houseman
Secretary - Jaz Venning
Treasurer - Keith Hollis
Seniors Manager - Dave Crawford
Ladies Assistant Manager - Sarah Warne
Players rep - Emma Penny-Larter

Welcome to our new committee members!

As no one has stood for C team captain or Senior B captain I will now accept nominations up until 5 minutes before the start of the AGM for these two positions.

Remember that outgoing committee members retain their positions and responsibilities until after Selsey.

If you are unable to attend the AGM but are eligble to vote, you may contact me no later than 24 hours in advance to let me know how you wish to vote on the aforementioned issues. However it is strongly preferred for you to attend. The discussion around the motions may include points which you have not yet considerred!!!

Hi Minx,
Can you (or anyone else who's certain) divulge any more detail on the Crown House venue proposal?
Cheers!

If the CH give me permission to publish their proposal then I'll be happy to.

How about emailing it to those County Players who request it on the understanding that they wil keep it confidential until Sunday

The Crown House were successful in their bid to host the county for all matches and events for the 2011/12 season.  We look forward to working with you in the coming year smile

The C team captain position has been made a committee position and renamed "C Team Manager"

The annual registration fee will remain £10, and subs will increase to combat rising fuel costs. This is likely to be £3.50 per match, but the final amount will be confirmed at the start of the new season.
