Couple of questions as im new to the county set up?
Are there any signs of the fixtures as yet?
When do we find out what team we are in?
Somebody told me we should of got a handbook or something detailing dress code etc is that right?
and lastly when do we get our shirts? will it be on the first county match day?
Sorry for all the questions
The first round of fixtures is likely to be 17th April. A draft version of the fixture list has been made but this is just a draft. We have a new Regional Director who has just be appointed which is why it has taken so long to get anything sorted.
Teams are being selected this week. You should get a text/phone call from your team manager over the weekend teling you what team you are in.
Handbooks are usually handed out on squad day and consits of the constiution, dress code and fixtures. Because the fixures is the main and most important part of the handbook, we decided to delay giving them out as the fixtures had not been released.
I will be sending the shirt order off this week for those that have told me so far and those that turned up at squad day. Hopefully they will be back in time for the first match.

Please note the first county fixture will be on Sunday 17th April. Your team managers wil confirm team selection to you in the next few days.
Your county handbooks will be given out before the first match with full details on being a squad member of OCPF. But a summary of key information is given below:
Kit: Black trousers, black shoes and socks, county shirt
Beefy has put the shirt order in and expects delivery before the first match. In the event of people NOT having their shirt in time, you may wear any collared shirt, ideally dark in colour.
Subs: tbc as Keith is just doing the petrol calc. Assume £3.50 unless told otherwise
I will put up the provisional fixture list on the OCPF website, but please note this version has not yet received final approval from the national board. However we anticipate there being minimal further changes at this stage.

Ahhh! Welcome to the World of the EBPF who are most associated with the words
BREWERY, PISS-UP, COULDN'T
Interestingly, the reorganisation of our region seems to be due to the formation of North Somerset, is this a real County or a District as in West Berkshire. Something we were told wasn't allowed anymore.
South Oxfordshire anyone...

I think you may get a few people interested in that

The Seniors are in a group of 8, therefore 14 matches but they deem that 14 matches is too many for the A's, B's etc.
No stamina these days...
I'd rather play more teams and therefore a lot more different players than playing the same people over and over and over and over again

Didn't know Oxford were putting a D team into the region? Are there now any limits on the number of teams a county can enter ?
The only reason Oxford have been allowed is because the newly formed mini region did not have many C teams (if you didn't allow hamps d and ox d there would only be 3 teams in the C section for our region). Personally I in the more opposition the better camp...
I certainly think you would have a tough time creating an E team, the regional board would simply turn you down, but as an interim measure whilst they "grow" our region, we will be allowed the D teams for now so there are enough matches.
Just posted up latest version - much has changed so pls reveiew carefully.
Please note I expect the match on 18th Sept will be moved as this clashes with an international tournament.
Other than that I do not expect the fixtures to change any further. Please note this messing about with fixtures is not within OCPF's control, this confusion has arisen from regional/national level.
Players will all receive their handbook at the first match they play, and this will contain a copy of the fixtures too.
