Please note that there will be a "Southern Region" Blackball Tour which will have events most central to Oxford players. Details of Southern Region Tour to follow in due course. However the Dates will be:

25/25 June '11
24/25 July '11
1/2 Oct '11
12/13 Nov '11
28/29 Jan '12

The ladies/youth events will take place on the saturday and Mens/seniors events on the Sunday of each weekend.

My current understanding is these events are open to all interested players, not just blackball county pool players.

More details to come in due course...

In addition to the above mentioned tour there is also the equivalent "Central Region Tour" whose events all take place in the Midlands and are therefore within relatively easy reach for the keen pool players amongst you!

Note the first match is this coming weekend, and therefore this proably rules out most Oxfordshire Blackball Mens county players because of the fixture clash. However they may be others who are interested, and for example the ladies could still attend their event on the Saturday.

The dates for this tour are as follows:

16/17 April - Stratford
4/5 June - Derby
20/21 August - Peterborough
8/9 October - Coventry
3/4 December - Burton on Trent
4/5 February - GRAND FINALS

Youth & Ladies takes place on the Saturday, Mens and Seniors takes place on the Sunday.

Cost £20 per event (£10 for youth)

ha that's hilarious!

One thing I would add to this thread is that I thought the Grand Finals would be centralised for all the regions, and when I asked Franc he thought the same, even though the dates for our GF and Central Tour GF are different, so I would expect one of them to change...

I thought that too but the Northern "Tour" (one venue) is on a different date also.
