Without it they would have lost their last 7 games and only come Runners Up.

RILEY'S SNOOKER CLUB "A" secure Seasons TOP transfer.

Riley's Snooker Club "A" have completed the transfer of one of Oxfords "long respected" top players.

The player put pen to paper Love Letterlate last evening behind closed doors, therefore cementing the final push for the premiership title.

The player, (who cannot be namedQuietdue a contract ruling) will make his debut tomorrow night at The Jolly Postboys, (formally Donnington Social Club) in front of a full house, and may well address the forum beforehand.  Blah Blah Blah 

Note: Riley's odds have now been shortened dramatically from 1/50 to 1/1000 on for the 2011/12 title.Money 2

So Riley's "A" team captain (Jamey Street) managed to capture former Crown House Club "A" teams captain "Shaun (POTTER) Taylor" for the rest of the season. biggrin

Playing mostly with his old team mates (Jamey, Brian, and me) of long ago, Shaun fitted into the team as though he had never been away playing some devastating pool, and in his own words "hadn't drunk so much for ages" evileye and was certainly my "man of the match" as he rolled back the years potting like he got his nickname many many years ago LOL.

Looks like Jamey will be ordering an EXTRA trophy this year. biggrin

I'm going to complain to the OFT for a crime against the Trade and Descriptions Act.

The subject of this thread clearly states that Rileys A have secured a TOP transfer.  I've not seen any evidence of that in any of the previous posts.

I'd suggest renaming the subject to "Champions-elect provide final chance for old Oxford player to finally pick up a Premier League Winners Trophy before he retires."

 Im not in it to pick up a Winners trophy, ive got plenty already biggrin

And as for retiring god knows where you heard that from ,how can a top player like myself retire when hes always wanted by the best team in the league, you aint seen the last of me yet Barney Boy, watch this space biggrinbiggrin And less of the OLD, I may be old but im still up there with the best biggrin
