Hi there I'd like to take part this year in the mixed doubles, only problem is I don't have a female player to play with!! Is there anyone out there that would like to play the event with me :)

Kev, what's supposed to happen with the mixed doubles final? As there wasn't time to play it on the night? Are we supposed to arrange it in our own time or are we now going to play it earlier on presentation night? I await instructions smile

Up to you's, however if it's played early on Finals Night, it'll be on the stopwatch  Devil

Next year it'll be back to the old format (as per BAPTO)

I've got no objection to the stopwatch Kev... Me n Ncik dont chat much anyway. I'll have a chat with Nicki about what she wants.

What a pity you're going to go back to BAPTO doubles next year. I so much prefer scotch. As a female at least it means I get to play some shots that aren't fudging up next to a ball. yawn 

All you have to do to fix it is remove the frankly ridiculous rule that allowed pairs to talk after each shot... I did warn you beforehand that you were bloody nuts to even consider introducing it!!

Well yes, that is an option I suppose...

The talkng was allowed to help the new girls but it was Pete & Nicki who took a ridiculous amount of time on shots.

Maybe we should invest in Chess Time Clocks, giving each team 15 mins...
