WEPF EUROPEAN CHAMPION

I would just like to congratulate a good friend of mine...Oly "The Bullet" Bale


He won the WEPF European Championships this week, beating players including Jason Twist and Gareth Potts on the way.


Any of you who have met Oly will know he is a great guy, full of enery and a great character in the game.


Fair play mate!


He will be doing an exhibition at The Wheatsheaf soon and I will let you all know.


It is worth coming along just to see how good this guy is one handed!!

I take it he is a EPA player ?  and what is WEPF ??

WEPF is the World Eightball Pool Federation and yes, he is a well known EPA player.

Congratulations should also go to all of the England teams for winning their events.

I played in this event last year in Malta and got to the quarter-finals of the ladies singles.

Sharon Dickson from Wales lost in the final of the ladies singles to one of the French girls 7-6 after beating Emma Cunningham from Northern Ireland and the current World Champion 6-5 in the semi final.

He is a bloody good pool player, something you probably aren't familiar with playing from the Tandem!!


Did i say that i had put it on here for you and Isty???  No.  For people who know him.


Give credit where it is due Mark............you want us all to shout about you winning the most wins in the Championship.....wow!!

Judging by the time you posted this my guess is you've probably had a few beers?


Taking that into consideration, I'll be gentle with you


First off - no doubt he must be a good player to have won such a prestigious event and in doing so have beaten some tuff opposition. I'm not doubting that or in any way discrediting him, or you by being his "good friend". All I said was that I've never heard of him. Excuse me for not being a Pool anorak, (note to myself > *must read pot black religiously*) I'll try not to make the same mistake next time, LOL


 


Now, on another issue; The next time you start a thread please make a point on who's allowed to comment/post and who isn't - makes life much easier and it would save you getting all uppity about it.

Not a problem Lee, the point i was trying to make was that this is not an EPA site and as such, talking for myself, I do not know many EPA players (judging by Isty's comments, neither does he). Not knocking his ability or what he has won, just asking who he actually was !

And as for the most wins, losing last week to Glen Johnson, I have probably blown that
