Congratulations to everyone involved in this weekends action. With the Men’s A qualifying for the Semi's for the first time in years, the B's only a hairs breadth from joining them in an extremely tough group, and the youth and ladies also just missing out, it was a terrific performance all round.
There were some great individual performances (Too many to list on this post - Reports to follow) but am sure many will be posted below (please do ... it'll help with the reports!!)
i have jus got to say well done to all the new starters, that were involved in this years nationals aswell, with some outstanding play from everyone at some point, the one that stood out the most has got to be Matty boy (matthew challen), well done mate, but well done all, hope to see ya all there again next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a great weekend, and a fantastic team spirit !!! (Must of been the Diesel!!!!)
Everyone stepped up and came up with the goods at some point during the weekend.
Player of the weekend...
Matty Challen has to stand out though for some great potting under pressure. Well done buddy, will look forward to seeing more of the same this season!!
Personality of the weekend....
Nathan Ball, without doubt the funniest thing I have ever seen was his singles match when he was completely hammered on Diesel!!! That was some skill shot Nath!!, but next time don't miss the black straight after it!!
So until next time........Choo, Choo!!! and Get on that Diesel Train!!!!!
I have to agree with Lee, Nathans singles match was something else after drinking about 10 - 12 pints at least of a substance that had me reaching for the nearest drink after one mouthful.
I would have to say that the singing and noise levels in the A's was very noticable in the afternoon games.
Well after all we had Ivor (Ming) driving the 2.30pm "Oxfordshire piss up Diesel train". I am reckoning most of the A's were on it at some point during the weekend or just behind on the lager express.
I would have to say that the A's were noisier and louder than the B's this time - anyone disagree with that ?

I agree with everything JFK, Lee and (even) Beefy says there. Cracking weekend, and a real high-point to end my direct involvement in helping the running of the team.
Results/reports will be up on the web as soon as I've got them from the relevant Team Managers and have had chance to type them up.

Take away Nathan singing along for the "A"'a and i think you will fine the "B"'s were just as noisy !!!
Fantastic weekend enjoyed by all i would say.
From a "B" point of view, Ben Scott had a good tournament and i think had the best record, but special praise for Ash Penny-Larter (or is it Carter ) who had a great tournament also, in his first finals.
Some cracking play by players, and also some great name calling by the organisers, eh Pete
