Rob Allsworth 2 - 1 Steve Lakeman

Sadly let Rob off the hook Easy red missed and went in off when i Could off won 2 - 0, Sadly missed out on the chance of Lucky next round, Can't believe I lost this with the way I played. sometimes you just don't get what you should at pool.

Yeah the banter was in full flow by the time you played your match.

The bug on the white ball followed by a miss cue, classic.

Well done on your win.

Yup, I was quite glad to get on the table first before the beer had the expected effect on those watching...!

Don't know why your moaning so much after all it wasn't like you lost biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Well I have heard of some theories behinds miscues and kicks but to blame it on a bug thats priceless.
I know what it was idea you were trying to spear the bug with your cue and happened to catch the white ball on the way to nailing the invited spectator confused

I know Hazel is not moaning about the banter, the beer was flowing and everyone was having a laugh, would have made no who was playing.

As for the bug I never said this was used as excuse, just a funny moment biggrin

That's just typical of Beefy, he's got to judge everyone by his own standards. yawn

Ooer??

Eh!? Who 'nailed a spectator' then!? And an invited one at that!

Is that written into the standard rule book?

I just hope you both kept one foot touching the floor!

Blimey Charlie!...

'Cue' the usual barrage of saucy pool/snooker related smutty jokes...

weirdface

Come on Hazel you know its only harmless fun and afterall were all very used to banter int he Abingdon league. I would say its a norm there unlike the Oxford games which often lack a good bit of banter between the teams biggrinbiggrin

I wasn't judging anything but I will remember that one for next time I miscue biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Actually it is but not for the reason you are implying. I never got into Black Adder it seemed like a waste of BBC prime viewing to me whilst it was on BBC1 but then thats democracy for you. I am sure the millions that did watch it would have a completely different view on the subject.

Beefy!!!! Blackadder is absolute comedy genius and (except for the slightly dodgy first series) right up there with the best of British comedy! Were you more of a Terry and June fan? smile

Yes you want to play it on the 4th this is fine with me, but you will have start early as you have a match that night also.

You are at home to the Kite B and Kevin is away to the Kite A.

The reason the singles semi's and the two-man quarter & Semi have to be played on separate nights is to keep the fixtures short.
