The C's result was even beteer considering the leg scores.
2 - 7, 4 - 5 so 6 - 12 down after the first two.
Final leg won 6 - 3 but could have been 9 - 0 I missed a gift of a finish and a 3/3 performance as a result, Sid went suicidal trying a snooker leaving the opponent a tap in on the black and Sean missing a chance on the black only to find himself tucked up and little chance after that. So a remarkable comeback from 7 - 2 down really.
In my opinion othey became over confident because of the lead they had and also the cider was kicking in as they were getting louder and louder as the day went on.
Nice table shame there was only one although there is another one planned for the game this weekend (typical) although will still only be one table.
They loaded the side as well with a couple of A team players becuase it was a C team game to give their A team players some extra frames. It appears they used to be an EPA side and have converted accross becuase they were constantly mentioing the rules to one and other and they did not seem interested in an form of tactical game.
Ming you will have a field day.

Also updated are the last 5/6 year rankings for men ... now including Jimmy Cairns, Ash Penny-Larter, Kenny Saunders, Richard Lamburn and Doris Doherty.
Yes good results all round and well done. I did get the results yesterday from Marcus and it looks like it was another long day for those involved as we found last week. These one table matches really are a killer for time.....

I'm surprised no-one has commented on Nick Mansell's fantastic record so far this season. Four matches played, twelve frames and only one loss - great stuff! I think there's someone else on 92% as well, can't quite remember...

Are you implying you did then Tom ? Bapto rules then though right. Get a lot of the breaks at those rules and you were half way there to winning the frame.
Breaking at Black ball only an advantage if you can keep the white in the middle of the table and pot a ball so you have a shot afterwards.....
Yes I agree with Maximus the way the results are going winning the group is seriously on the cards this time round. The squad has stength in depth this time and would say its probably the strongest squad we have had in the last 5 years.
Keep the good results coming.

No disrespect but there are better teams in our area now than there were when you started. Although still a good acheivement in any debut as the nerves of the situation are still there. It would be interesting to see what you debut at national finals would be.... were still waiting on that one becuase of other commitments
