I fear you may right, and that my issue might not be addressed till the 2009 AGM unless something drastic happens.

NO Malc ... you'd play if it was run your way ... for you ... like it was 5 years ago ... when we even folded half way through a season .... noone really gave a sh*t, turn up if you can be bothered and eligibility for the A's was determined by if you played for the Osney or if an Osney 'contract' was pending. Lol
Yep, I've got a fair few things wrong but I've always had the interest of the county at heart.
I can sympathise though ... under the old system you were paid to go to Nationals ... no wonder you don't bother now
Anyway, not interested in your games ... I've got work to do.
Its about time that PUBS name was mentioned, and brought into this thread.
OSNEY TILL I DIE

Certainly there's issues that i'm not happy about, but the only place that these will be sorted out is at the AGM (10th Feb). Wether or not people like it, that's the system.
Things that are new to us often take a season or two to settle down and for the county as a whole to realise that perhaps things could have been done differently. Unfortunately, if we realise that half way through the season, there's very little we can do as we'd be accused of now favouring the people who complained about the it in the first place.
Let me rephrase this "there's issues that i'm not happy about" to "there's things i feel could have been done differently" as my issues are on a administrative level.
As i said earlier, it's only as the season progresses do you see the likely problems that may arise.

I.E. me and beefy lol thats funny, Young apprentice, JFK and ming thats not banter, please if other counties look on our website they will be p*****g themselves come on lads, lets keep it friendly at least, were all in contact with JFK and ming so please any personnal issues give em a call or somethin. Anyway well done to the b's last weekend, only coz i captained the first two legs!!! though i do have a complaint and its quite serious, i have heard more noise in grave yard at 11 o clock at night, they was no atmosphere at all i actually nearly fell asleep, so i thought i no i will go down stairs to c the a's it was worse, thats the one thing i can say about the b2 side is we have a better atmosphere i am sure people in our team can vouch for that, and anyone who was at the game the weekend for the a and b side will agree with me!!!!
the A's was determined by if you played for the Osney or if an Osney 'contract' was pending. Lol
I have heard a rumour that they (OSNEY ARMS) have been in negotiations again this week with a top Oxfordshire player, and are currently drawing up an contract for the forthcoming 2008/09 season/s can anyone confirm this.

Chris, well pointed out about the results at the weekend. 2 great results Oxford A 19 - 8 Bristol A Oxford B 18 - 9 Bristol B
With the A team result, It looks like they will be top of the A team section, baring a mircle result from other teams and going back to nationals seeded 1 for the groups.
What a great year for Oxford, Runners up at nationals, then top of section, So well done to John and any player that has played there part in this success.

I would prefer not to discuss it on the forum because i dont want to p*** people off.
Thats a fair point but putting comments on here that will only ignite the issue is not exactly a good idea either if you don't want to explain afterwards.

Well my suggestion is put it in writing and send it to Ming in plenty of time for it to be discussed. If then down to the vote on the day with the majority winning the vote. Come on Malc you know how an AGM works how many committee's have you been part of in the pool world ?
But like most years the rumours start right before the AGM and then no one tunrs up to back what they say on here..........
