Correct. It's a fix. We can't have someone like Rhys losing in the first round so we fudged it so he's back in the competition. That's the way the league works.
Sunday 30th January - Sunday League Singles KO 2nd Round:
Kenny Saunders v Lee Trinder @ Crown House Nathan Ball v Simon Anderson @ Rileys James Eglestone 0 - 4 Rhys Freemire Adam Brown v Jamie Power @ Rileys Michael Keady v David Bradbury @ Rileys Tom Williams v Mircea Popa @ Rileys Malcolm Lewis v Anthony Stopp @ Rileys Jason Buck v Jamey Street @ Rileys
All matches best of seven.
I've booked three tables at Rileys so it's first come first served for those in the six matches due there.
Pathetic earthlings. Hurling your bodies out into the void, without the slightest inkling of who or what is out there. If you had known anything about the true nature of the game, anything at all, you would've hidden from it in terror
Congratulations to Adam Brown for winning his first Oxford League Singles Title last night at Rileys. With the Doubles Final postponed once more, the Singles Final was played instead in front of a large and boistrous crowd. The players fearlessly plunged into the match with great gusto and bravado reaching a content stalemate at 4-4 before Oxford's own National Singles Champion crept over the line winning the next two frames.
Tom Williams (Rileys F) 4 - 6 Adam Brown (Rileys F)
The presentation for the trophies will be made on Thursday at Rileys.
