It wasn't last year EPA trials were best of 3 frame matches yet the county game is a one frame format - a strange decision but I guess the argument is on one framers you can get in by good fortune on the day yet in best of three you generally have to play well.

Don't think you have to pay for the trials, but you require an EPA registration card (£5) if you qualify.
Players sort out transport to away games themselves

And you have to pay £4 subs per match to cover affiliation fees, POTM trophies etc but it's refundable if you win all 4 frames. The AGM is before the trials so don't quote me in case anything changes.
