Great week for us GWR B played 2 matches last night

GWR D 7 - 6 GWR B
Rob 1 - 3 Stuart
Billy 3 - 1 Moo
Robin 3 - 2 Carrie

Hollybush A 1 - 9 GWR B
Dale 0 - 3 Carrie
Mick 1 - 3 Stuart
Jack 0 - 3 Moo

That's really but the pressure on fellow Yarntonite "Kite A" biggrinbiggrin

Kite B v  Kite A is the biggest match of the today, but there is also the little matter of Demos v Osney, which is 2nd v 1st. in section 1

kite B 5, Kite A 7

well what looked like a tough match, we managed to come through it with some luck!
Gregg lost 3.1 to debanks, so we up against it, dean closed out king gee to come through to win 3.2, so we 5.4 down.
So the match we,ve all been waiting for, zorro against lakeattacks. I got down to my last red, missed it and fluked it in top pocket, leaving me plumb on the black, 1.0 nil.
2nd frame, steve really should of levelled, potted the black and went in off, hitting the table in frustration!
3rd frame, i got in, potted a few, steve give me a chance, and i won it. 3.0 nil.
So we won 7.5 to move us closer to the GWR B in the league table.
Great result team.

10 points behind now, good going, however with Hollybush B are only 4 points  behind with a game in hand, it's looking like a 3 horse race. With GWR B winning it of course biggrinbiggrin

After losing, Todd had thought about joining national pooh stick league, but realised the current just wasn't strong enough in the stream outside the Hollybush.....gingerly he dragged his stick to Great World Records office to seek advice from the national pooh stick champion himself "Mr Robbie "toy thrower" Ayres" his response was "you Muppet you've just passed the River Thames to get here"!

Shame that Robin (team capt) was away on Holiday, But game played anyway, With it being tighter then the score shows, Both Andrew and Peter could off been 2-0 down in there games, So a very good win.
