Well done to the Oxford ladies, away at Berkshire yesterday.

Oxford romped to a 16-5 victory over Berkshire.

3/3s for Jaz, Nicki, Shelley, Steph.
Rachel Featherstone also made her debut, scoring1/2. First of many I'm sure smile

Yep.  I think we played pretty well from what I saw.  I dont think they're the worst team in the section either.
3/3 - Dorris, Me, Beefy, Pete Mac and Ben.
However the B1s are looking a bit short for next week (Streety is off to the Isle of Wight for £9.50 - loves it!)

Beefy is one of them biggrin

A short report so EASY DOLLA can understand it.

First leg won 7 - 2 with Ash and Graham the only losers

Second Leg 7 - 2 with Ash and Jez the only losers.

(At this stage the same person had beat Jez and Graham)

Third leg 7 - 2 with Ash and one other losing

So 5 had 3/3 and 3 had 2/3

Just one thing to point out apparently colours were not aware of a county game on Sunday as I arrived at 12pm and found John and Graham there with only one person behind the bar and the other person on duty was DORRIS who was playing county for us.

A nice quick match that was over around 3.30pm which I was greatful for as I was not feeling well (not beer related either)

and to my mind there was nothing you could do about losing to a girl in the last leg, given that she only let you have 20 or 30 shots.

hahaha

Oxofrdshire Mens 'B' 13-14 West Berkshire

john street 3/3
graham hornblow 3/3
andrew gee 1/3
ash penny larter 1/3
ben scott 2/3
nicki hoskins 1/2
sean lin 0/3
jaz venning 0/1
dave lakemen 1/3
keith hollis 1/3

being fluked out twice and having a bad call from the ref doesnt help matters, but still a decent result tho i think with a weakend squad.

And Andrew also managed to invent a new 'side game'  after the match...

It's called "Lets see how far we can get from the away venue on the way home, before I remember I've left my cue there!"

Yesterday the answer was "Nearly the M4!"

Pure Genius! biggrin

I wonder how far along the M4 he'll get on his way back from Bristol at the end of the month if selected for the b's again.

Maybe we should limit him to half a pint of beer for every frame he wins. That way there's a small chance he'll be sober enough to remember his cue at the end of the day!

Sorry Gee but you no have a new name king "Forgetful".

Don't worry we will make sure you don't leave without it next time as we will be inventing the new game......... if you do and my car might suddenly find a new option on it called the Ejector Seat.

Muppet - 1st Class !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I disagree with the comment a decent result as well. It was not a good result when we are 10- 8 up once again going into the last leg ! Yes two outragous flukes and a bad call went against us and in the end made the difference but thats pool.

We will bouce back for the Brsitol game rest assured............

Good effort.  They did win the section last year and you were away too.  Oh and you had Pingu playing for you!

Have fun in Bristol!
