Oh dear! When are we going to find the poor old boy a level at County he can still compete at... Its a lot tougher in this section than the one and only A team match that I was luckily selected for this season recently.
Oh Malc, Malc only yesterday you were saying about what people write and who reads it, You quite well know, you have been asked to play more then once for the A team this season. so stop it.
I am not going to be the ringmaster here but I will say one thing.
I have been on the receiving end of some backstabbing tactics in the past and its not nice so I think it would be best to stop this now before this one goes to far......
John I fully respected your commitment and running of the OCPF when you were in charge and like I have said before your going to be a hard act to follow and I would vote you back in the future if you decide to come back and I think there are many others out there that would also vote you back in.
Rumours, slander and witch hunting will cause the OCPF downfall in the long run is that what people want ????? I know I don't as I look forward to going to county finals each year as its a great weekend win or lose.
The county set up has come miles from the first season I played (the year after the A team folded) and lets keep it going forward...................
Malc I have to say the best way would be FOR YOU to prove people wrong and SHOW COMMITMENT by GOING TO NATIONALS as part of an OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY TEAM rather playing a handfull of games each year...............

We all know nationals are in March saving £15 a month would pay for the weekend including beer money for most of us -
Maybe you should start saving £25 from now on surely the return to the Osney will help you out as well.................

Let me be the first to say that there was nothing wrong with JFK's attitude whilst managing the county team. Anyone, who has in anyway been part of the county set up over his time in charge will surely testify to that.
John strived not only to make the county team win things, but also for there to be a fair approach to selection aswell.
Whilst its easy for people to comment who have had little or no experience with the county team whilst john was in charge (but have probably heard people bitching about county), it's alot harder to put your self in his position, and deal with the constant bickering and rumours always directed towards him.
So if anyone has any problems with the way the county team is run or who it's run by, the AGM will be round early next year. Everyone who has criticed John, the committe, the county in general will once again have there oportunity to voice there concerns or put themselves forward for a position on the committee.
So, as usual, i'll look forward to seeing you all there!
The County Pool Squad is a collective... If you trial and qualify or you get retained, you are playing for Oxford, that should be first and foremost. You play in whatever team you get selected for for any given match day. You should have no personal ulterior motives, nobody is a star player - one frame pool is funny like that. We all need to pull together and show ourselves to be as good as we are and can be! Despite whatever personal beef's any individuals had with John, unfounded or not - I'm not in a position to comment on that, but I think he did a good job. Now, lets look forward to playing every remaining match and kicking some Ass! Lets all get to them Finals again and do what we're capable of! I'll be at Riley's for 11am on sunday if anyone would like to join me for a practice... (Cowley Wetherspoons at 10.20 for breakfast Cider and fry-up!) Cheers People!
