Quarry Gate 1 - 4 Folly Bridge

Of the other prelim the Osney Arms had previously beaten North Oxford Con Club 3-0.

The draw for the quarter finals will be made on Sunday 11th January 2009.

The official Rules state;

8c COACHING  

Play without advice from others.

If, in the opinion of the referee, the result has been compromised insome way, it may be decided to award the frame to the opponent. 

So in effect, the odd comment may not be deemed as coaching but continual comments would be imo.

Down to your Captain to complain to the ref and/or league

Big congratulations to the osney, outplayed us on the night. Stoppa and Matty first match, could've gone either way. Did'nt see the best pool from them but still class. Simon and Tom second, i got the run of the balls. Big respect to tom, a great player, just got unlucky. Jamie and Adam. An unfortunate in-off from jamie left the run of it for Adam. Terry and Malcy, unlucky for terry really, lots of potential for the new season struggled to find it on the night though, take nothing away from it though everyone who played last night gets my upmost respect. A great night all in all and the very best to all who enter next year.
