With England sadly on Holiday, Who is the team to follow for the next couple of weeks
I go for Spain, A team that should do better, but always finds a way to lose, sounds like England, but with Torres hopefully they will do well.

If I was a betting man I'd spread over Portugal, Holland and Germany, with a few quid on Greece to retain the title.

if you take into account the way the draws gone, germany and czech republic have got an easier half of the draw than say, france or italy.

With Spain likly to walk into either France Itlay or Holland makes it hard, but as Spain normanlly chokes playing little teams it might be good, Go Spain
Germany always get good draws and are looking good bets to make semi finals. Must say yesterday games were poor with both sides lucky to get wins.

Your line up explains why they are under achievers, 2 keepers, 2 defenders, 5 central midfielders and 2 crap strikers

Spain have a rubbish record when Torres and Villa both start and there manager doesnt know what hes doin

Portugal or Holland should win it biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I should have put a £1 on each match correct scores

So far in the predict the results comp we have at work

3 pts for the result spot on 1 point for the result but not the correct score

Opening match no good I had them down to win 2 - 0 Czech's

Second Match spot on with the 1 - 0 win Croatia

Third match spot on with the 2 - 0 win Portugal

fourth match I had down as a 2 - 1 Germany

I wreckon that would be about a £10 up on a £1 bet for those 4 so far.....

Todays games 1-1 in the French game and 2-1 win Italy.....

TANGERINES 3 - 0 WORLD CHAMPS

goota say...holland looked very impressive tonight..

two goals that were started from their own half..and one that took only 17 seconds from defence into attack into a goal..pure class

It was a great counter Attack goal, With France looking so poor Holland look well on corse to top group which on paper would mean they miss Spain in 1/4, Let's hope Spain turn up today like Holland did yesterday.

So the Mighty Holland can take a break, Lose to Romaina who's odds of 11/10 to beat Holland is not bad, reguarding Holland will rest players.
Then comes the story, If Romaina do better then Italy and France, They then take 2nd, Then If Italy and France draw they will have to do a pen Shootout to decide 3rd and 4th place, because of ranking points for seedings. How funny would that be World cup winners and runners up, to shootout for 3rd or 4th place, in a group.

So glad Portugal are out.
Now hopefully Ronaldo will make a decision and then we will hear no more about it.
The will he or wont he story is really starting to annoy me.
