For anyone who is interested the final league and most wins tables are available on the Sunday League website.
The Osney Arms won the top section with Crown House A runners up by a close four points despite the Osney Arms winning 18 out of 18 matches.
Most wins in the top section was won by Malcolm Lewis of the Osney Arms with 17 out of 18 wins. Adam Brown finished second with a notable 16 out of 18.
The second section was won by Rileys B with an 11 point margin over the second place team, the Quarry Gate.
Rileys B player Daniel Stockwell won the most wins with an impressive 13 wins. John Williams from the North Oxford Conservative Club and Gurnish Lal from the Folly Bridge finished in joint 2nd with 11 wins.
Eight Ball trophies are destined for Adam Brown, Andrew Gee, Anthony Stopp, Ash Penny-Larter, Charlie Guinan, Daniel Durham, James Eglestone, Malcolm Lewis, Mark Stopp, Matty Challen, Peter de Banks, Rhys Freemire, Ross Gibson, Shaun Taylor, Tom Gaughan and Tom Williams.
Congratulations to all winners and runners up.
There is quite a while to go yet before the presentation night as we have many weeks of knockout matches to finalise. Confirmation of the date and location of the presentation night will be made in good time but currently it is planned for the 20th September 2009.
If anyone knows of other teams that might like to enter for the 2009/10 season feel free to pass on my details and I can provide details etc.
