Hiya - yes I can do that. Presume I might be OK to turn up slightly after 12 as I have a BYE. I'll aim for 1pm (I'm only across the car park anyway if needed earlier)

Good grief, I didn't expect that.  All seven people involved can make it on Saturday!  I expected a few people to not be available but it looks as though it's actually going ahead.  I won't be there though as I'm due in Liverpool on Satuday.

I've booked three tables from 12pm so please be prompt, except Jaz who doesn't need to be there until Mark Salter v Steve Joseph is complete.

The draw is as below:

Jaz Venning v BYE
Mark Salter v Steve Joseph
Ash Street v Terry Ambrose
Hasan Ali v James Watson

So the Semi-Finals will be:

Jaz v Mark/Steve
Ash/Terry v Hasan/James

I predict a Jaz v Hasan final.

All matches best of 11.

Unsurprisingly this won't be going ahead on Sunday.  I think with the proliferation of train drivers, bus route managers and others on odd shifts this one is best left to your own devices to get your matches arranged.  We're never going to find a date or venue for all of you to attend at the same time so please contact your opponent and get you match arranged.

If you win then post the result and contact the next opponent, or maybe we can arrange four of you to play the Semi-Finals and Final during the same evening.

If it was down to me I'd've set a deadline some time ago and anyone not played by then would have been OUT!!!

Too much buggering about going on with rearranged matches etc in all leagues at the moment - doing my head in!
