Notice to all in Section One.

Following Chris Webb's retirement from pool, which includes his participation in the Singles League, I have removed his records from the results sheet and have inserted a BYE.

As he had played nearly half the season it is now too late to find a replacement and have that replacement catch up all their matches from February.

All results against Chris are void (sorry Ash!), and the player finishing 5th will receive a BYE into the Semi Final of the Play Off (in other words the BYE will be the 12th position in the league).

It's not a great situation to have someone withdraw from the league but obviously it's something that can happen so there's not an ideal solution at this stage so I've done what I think is best.  If it was earlier in the season I would have made efforts to find a replacement.

I don't think it will diminish the standard's the league is trying to maintain.

There will be annual trophy for Section One sponsored by the Witney Trophy Centre.

This will be presented at the end of the season along with the prize money.

Ash Fletcher 10-9 Kevin McIlroy

Kevin started well with a couple of break and dishes early on and led 7-2 and 8-3 I think. Then he started playing badly and I was just about good enough to capitalise on his mistakes to claw my way back at him and snatch it. Poor quality again though!

Tom weeks 10 - 4 lee bj

Tom was on fire tonight with 4 break and dishes and 3 dishes from my break....

There was even a 1 hour 15 mins frame thrown in for good measure (which i still lost)

Two great results for Malc there. Fair play to him as well.

Our match was far from vintage, no break and dishes or anything, and some quite horrible luck for me at several points, however I take nothing away from a very steady performance from Malc who didn't miss much whenever I let him in after another silly error!

Very poor display from me, just like against Bally in the first match.
