Cider 10 - 8 Beefy

This was probably the best match I have played in during the singles league over the last 2 years its just a shame there not all like this.

Friendly banter, joking, laughing, atmosphere and a few tinnys along the way. The match lasted about 1h 20 minutes with harldly any negative safety play by either of us other than when the oppoent was on the black.

Only one comment though Cider must have been on the wrong brand last night as his swerve shots were not really working....

Thanks to Annie for letting us play after the thursday match although Jimbo was not impressed as he wanted a few frames......

LOL - you two were both pissed when this match started...

I didn't stick around to see the conclusion, but the first few frames certainly looked entertaining enough. Crazy clearances, missed blacks wink fun fun fun

Beefy's generocity was well and truly taken advantage of last night as he agreed to play two of his singles league games.

Lee BJ 10-3 Beefy (I think, or it may have been 10-2)
Ash 10-5 Beefy

Both games were highly tactical affairs with snooker after snooker until the tense finishing blacks were potted. wink

and playing 2 singles matches was not the best idea for me or beef man (and it was you taking the advantage pool shark after seeing beefys first match against me)

What a load of BS it was more like crash bang wallop with out ragous shots all night - oh what fun this league is,

BJ's game last about 45 minutes I think and Ash's about an hour and 1/4 now if I was playing seriously that wouls have been about two frames worth and not nearly 30 - lmao smilesmilesmilesmilesmile

its a shame there are only a few more matches left before I decend to the lower depths of the league to reek havoc next year biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I thought you were in kamikaze mode all match - just that your luck ran out a little towards the end.  Both LBJ and myself were hardly playing tactical pool either mind you - thoroughly enjoyable!
