We got an easy group Colzy. Midget C =  Chuddies. Peachcroft A = Average team and the others are much lower division.
Come on the TANDEM!!!

Oh dear Kev. Who do you have in second round of singles if you get through your first game.
Its not that Joe Thomas from the Tandem is it? Nevermind mate, there's always next year when he's at uni I guess.

Your brave to wind the mighty ming up worship.gif !!. It will only make him play even better than he already does? worry.gif.

I will buy you a drink down the Oracle if you get 2 frames out of him over best of 5? That depends on if you even get past the first round laughing.gif.

Kev can't deal with pressure, He'll miss blacks over the pocket like he did against us in Team Knockout. This will be the biggest game of his career and he will bottle it................. I HOPE. Lol

Tandem strolls through field to victory 9-2 (Beringsfield)

Well not much to report other than my game had it all. I had been out all day on the beer as it was my Mum's 65th birthday.... and I won the second with a typical beefy specia after being near perfect on the black I hit it so hard it rattles and flies up to the opposite top pocket. with head bowed giggling to myself as something told me it was either going in or over the pcoket (the giggling and head down was definitely the excess alcohol)

Talking to Craig,

Results were

Wins 2- 0 (Craig, Marcus, Jamey and myself) with just Joe losing 2 - 1 but I understand that should have been a 2 - 0 win as well.

Still 9 - 2 isn't a bad start for the Mandem boys.

Ok, I was tired and couldn't be bothered typing the scores. biggrin

4 of us won 2-1 and one won 2-0 so a total of 10 - 4 to Oracle A.

KINGS SEE OFF BOWYERS

The Kings and current PREMIER CHAMPIONS of the Abingdon League gave a slightly drunk performance against the Bowyers Arms, because, well, 3 of us were pretty drunk.

C.Coles     L 1- 2
J Saczak   W 2 - 0
M Guise    W 2 - 0
W Tidbury L 1 - 2
K Hollis     W 2 - 1

The Tandem had thrased out a deal to sign the legend that is Mr McIlroy, but talks broke down as personal terms could not be agreed.

Kaka = 60million.
Ronaldo = 80 million.
McIlroy = Greedy.
