First two games could of gone either way.....but gee was not at his best and all the luck went my way fortunately! needed that to make a close end to the season lets hope it goes to the final game! :)

Hollybush 9 v 2 Gwr B

Jaz 3 v 0 Sheree.  The scorline flatters me - we were both on the black in the first 2 frames
Lee 3 v 0 Carrie  Obviously a holiday didn't do Lee's pool any harm!

GWR A 8 v 5 Hollybush

Stuart 3 v 2 Jaz (just like last time Stuart and I played, I was very fortunate not to lose 3-0)
Hazel 3 v 0 Lee
Tim 2 v 3 Mark Pitfield

Not a bad result for us really. We lost the match pretty early on, but Mark P did a great job of getting us some points on the board, which may prove critical at the end of the season. It's likely to come down to our result against the demos next week though, and I hear they beat GWR D 9-1 last night, which should help oiur cause.

Thanks to Mark for filling in at the VERY last minute. And bailing Lee out for the 2-man!

The plot thickens in the championship...

Hollybush 4 v 9 Demos

Mark 2v3 Potter
Jaz 2v3 Pete Mac
Lee 0v3 Nick Mansell

A nervy first match in particular for the Demos who desperately needed to win all the matches tonight, as potter went 2-0 down to Mark Pitfield and had to battle to get back in contention. I was pleased with my two frames against Pete, one of which included a double black due to my inability to position the white ball!! Phew.

Both sections are looking close

In the Premiership just 1pt between Osney A & Demos can see this coming down to the last match of the season when they play each other, as for the most wins well that's a battle between Matty & Brownie

In the Championship the Hollybush have extended their lead over GWR D by 6pt but don't go ruling out the Kite just yet they are only 4pt behind GWR D and they are playing the Hollybush next week so it could all change. As for the most win with both Marc Reynolds & Mark Dodson having bye last night those 2pt from Jaz put's her joint top.

Last nights result all updated www.oxfordpool.co.uk

With Osney & Demos both dropping 3pts last night, next week final league match should be a good match to watch as their is still only 1pt between the 2 teams! I have heard a few other teams are playing their league matches early next week so they can go and watch this match, could be a busy old night in the Demos next week.


In the Championship section a big well done to the Hollybush biggrin who have won the section, as for the most wins Marc Reynolds needs to get 3pt to beat Jaz.

Final league tables have now been updated for Tuesday Mile 2009 season Click here for final league table

Premiership was won by Osney A with Demo coming runners up, Most wins go to Matty Challen Osney A

Championship was won by The Hollybush with GWR D coming runners up, Most wins goes to Marc Reynold GWR D
