Results from mixed doubles Prelim match 1

Jez Thompson & Sarah Warne 3 - 2 Chris Webb & Carrie Francombe

Close match could have gone either way

Priyan Shah & Kerry Alderson GWR B v Malc Lewis & Hazel Dabrowski Osney & GWR A
This match is being played on the 2nd June 6pm Osney

Todd Hawkes-Bayliss & Deanna Hawkes-Bayliss GWR D v Maria Oliver & Tom Jaynes Osney B
No date set for this match yet as 'little sis' is on holiday

Jaz n Kev scrape through against Dave & Sheree 3-2

Intersting game - early on it looked like Jaz n Kev were going to run away with it, but some comedy missing and timely beer spillages kept the match tight, with Jaz n Kev flopping over the line in the last frame after our oponents missed a tricky last ball which probably would've won them the match.

Hopefully Ming the Merciless and Mighty Minx will find their feet in the next round.

Definitively an interesting match, we were looking at a 3-0 defeat until the jawed black let back in.

As for the final frame! I think I need sign around my neck "warning mad cow on the loose" Not only did i knock Ming drink into Dodgy cue case, I then swung Dodgy cue case around empty it straight into Ming who was in the middle of taking a shot!!

As for the last ball karma bite me on the ar5e biggrin

Well done on the win guys, it was a fun night

I'm pretty sure it was 5-3, we didn't get to a last frame decider. Not that it matters...
