I'm not sure what is happening with the Tandem team. Marcus is moving to Wales and Jamie and I are off to university, so it may be a case of folding, or signing some new players. We will see.

Teams should be aware that ONLY 24 teams will be automatically accepted into the League and that the league will only be increased in increments of 3 to ensure that too many BYE's are not included in the season. Places will be on a first come basis, extra teams will be placed on a reserve list.

Therefore, Captains should ensure that their entry forms are returned WITH FULL PAYMENT a.s.a.p

Old Prince of Wales (Shippon) team reform.................

The old P.O.W team have decided to reform from the Cross Keys.

Phil & Matt have joined there old buddies. Since splitting two season ago they went on to win Section two, then Section one, & they are now in the premiership, hopefully we can help towards winning the prem?? biggrin

What started as a tricky match turned into a stroll as Kennington win 7 of the last 9 to go from 3 - 3 to 10 - 6 runaway winners.

A point I feel that needs clarifying by the league secretary as it wasn't discussed at the AGM is which leg of the 3 is the beer leg 1st or last ?

(Its unfair to buy a drink in all 3 if you lose all 3 on any given week)

I agree with what you are saying beefy, at our venue last night nobody bought a drink for the winner from both teams all night. I think its because of how many match's we play now? i personnally cant see how you would do it as you could play 3 different players? im not going to buy 3 drinks if i lose 3 times!! thats for sure especially in the keys at £2.95 per pint. Getting back to what you said " which leg of the 3 is the beer leg 1st or last " it wouldn't really be fair to buy drinks for each other in any leg as only 5 players would benifit from it especially if you have 7,8,9 players play in any one night, probably best left to the individual if they want to buy there opponant a drink should they lose?

I think if your opponent breaks and clears against you, then perhaps you should buy them a drink but as for that...

Midget A 9 Oracle 6

Midget played out of there skins to a oracle team that had players turning up 30mins after the first game had started, also with three of the there players playin POKER which i might add one of them was there captin. Shorly the captin sould be the one to be their to welcome the away team, instead they were nowhere to be seen Till there game, which they had to get one of the other players to go and get them from the poker table, this happend three times with different players. After players got beat or won they just left not saying a word where is the sportsmanship in that. Many thanks to the Oracle players that did stay and did watch every game.
