The Selsey week will be the Semi-Final week of the Team Knockout & Plate so re-arranging them won't be an issue as long as both teams agree on that course of action.
Not a problem if both teams have numerous players at Selsey, but where only one team has players away, then they'd better make sure they contact their opponents in good time to get it played prior to the Selsey weekend...
A little birdie has told me that Wootton lost 11-4 to Plough (ab), which, if true, would complete a strange day of results....

That little birdy was indeed right Kev. The WBL B were on stunning form. I would argue that most of the games were all down to the black and the score line doesn't fully reflect events but complete credit to their team they hit form and we didn't. For the record I think Peachcroft B still are in with a chance of the title...
We only need to win 14 out of the 15 games on the 11th April
Result from last night: PLOUGH something - something WOOTTON RBL
So you're last game is the 11th April ey....hmm...Im sure you will find out how many points you need and 'convientently' pick them up in that match.
Can you please explain what you mean by the post above. If i am reading this correct and you are saying the result is going to be fixed, then i take great offence to be being called a cheat

Although I was under the impression all games had to be played by the last game of the season, not extended. Which means you will know exactly how many points to pick up, unlike for example, final group games in the World Cup where all matches kick-off at the same time so nobody knows, thus being fairer.

Well I was under the impression that we're a pool league, playing for a battered old trophy and an individual trophy worth £10-15, not the World cup and possible multi million pound contracts/indorcements.
Anyway Milhouse, my spies have found out that Wootton 'A' won 10-5 meaning that both Kennington and Midget 'C' require 8 points in their final match, 7 points will be enough to draw level with the teams above them but they'll lose out on match wins.
So, all to play for....

Thanks for that Kevin and as always thanks for clearing things up with people moaning about rules. As you stated previously, you have allowed games to extend beyond the deadline, so everyone is fully aware of what is going on - if Wootton were that bothered about us "gaining an advantage" by playing late, why didn't they arrange to play their game late aswell ?
Maybe we should just give the game to the Midget as we were the ones who could not play, so congratulations to the Midget for winning the Prem - unlucky Tandem, you have Wootton to thank for being shafted out of the league!

How does that work? The Midget are 20 pts behind... its a nice idea though.

I won't be too happy if the midget finish above us due to no team showing up!!!
As Michael Winner would say "calm down dear" If you read my earlier post " both Kennington and Midget 'C' require 8 points in their final match, 7 points will be enough to draw level with the teams above them but they'll lose out on match wins", you wouldn't get in such a tizzzzzzz.
The league match starts at 6pm and the TKO Plate match after that......

After leading for nearly all the season we are pipped at the post after losing to the Midget last night at the Oracle.
Looks like that 11-4 defeat we suffered at the RBL proved decisive in the end.
Can't remember the final score as we played the match to 8 the required number of points either team needed and then stopped as the remaining frames didn't change the league positions.
Warning to all diabetics out there that visit the Oracle to play pool matches Pom no longer sells diet coke !
