Perhaps. Or they are so disorganised they forgot to pay or contact Tom and assumed they could just waltz in with a promise of payment whenever they liked.

Had the same people from this season's section one entered for next season, their entry fee and pay out structure would have been the same as this year.  But they didn't, so it's not.
or perhaps as the concerns about promotion/relegation and voiced on different threads weren't addressed ?

So. have the 36 named participants paid their entry fees?

Can people still enter as the list seemingly continues to change?

Have all the players paid?

Sorry, no intention to offend, I was trying make a joke!

To answer your question, I picked out the best and worst players in my opinion to go into sections one and three, then roughly graded the rest to complete the three sections.

I'd be interested to hear people's opinions, but I guess most of that will be based around people thinking player A in Section Two is better than player B in Section One.

I think Millhouse is complaining about not being in section 3 by the sound of things.....

Not at all Ben, yes, i was surprised to not be in section 3, but i am fine with being in section 2.
What i was referring to is that Beefy finished above both Jez and Dave in section 3 this year, but they are both in section1 with beefy in section 2
You also have Graham Hornblow who has finished above yourself in section 2, but it is you who have been put into division1 next year.

This is why i was asking what the basis was of selecting the divisions for next year.

Possibly even division 3 Kev after he lost to Bucky from Kennington S&SC and Dave Mahon from the Shelley Arms in the last 3 weeks.

I've updated the list on my previous posting, I hadn't changed some names so ignore what was on there originally.  The list in my previous posting is now correct.

Two or three.

Who is below you now that were above you last year?  You finished 4th in Section Three with Peter de Banks, John Street and me above you.

Tom, i think you need to have a re-think about what division Paul Carter is in - if you don't know his ability, then you need to ask around as he is a better player than most in Division 2.

With play-offs imminent and the new league starting in February,
perhaps we need to think about voiding/awarding some matches so we can get on with it?
How can you arrange matches when your opposition won't respond to your communication?
If people don't intend to play the outstanding matches then tell Barney now so we can sort final results and positions and get on with finishing this season!

I think Beefy is getting at changing Graham for him.

Claiming games could impact upon the final positions (and cash distribution) in the top 4.

Section Two - I would imagine Potter and Graham are quite keen to play as the winner could finish second.  That would leave Jules and Jamie to play.

Ha Ha, I'd prefer to be in section 1 than 3!!!! I won't drop you until the last game of the season - if I need it to keep ahead in most wins!!!
