Kennington results:

Prelim Round:

Pete Mac 3-0 Mark Pitfield

Karl Withers W-L Ash Penny-Larter

Ash had to leave for some reason, so he gave me the game.

First Round:

Pete Mac 3-0 Karl Withers

Pete broke and dished twice, and I managed a trick shot to pot the black early in the other frame when I looked set to win it - oh well, roll on next year biggrin

I think John Kinsey won on the other table........

result from GWR

John Murray 3-1 ??

Andrew Gee BYE

Andrew Gee 3-0 John Murray

Fair play to john for waiting for andrew as he thought he was playing at the prince of wales so andrew had to make his way from horspath road to town as quick as he could.

Whats this the mighty King going to the wrong venue again ! His Thursday team did that in the summer league as well and had to get from A1 to kidlington in a hurry !

Not many of the 'big' names left in that draw - perhaps a new name on the trophy this year....?

Stez wins as his opponent did not turn up.
Not a nice way to win but he did rearrange for last week but then cancels.

rhys won (he beat Stez Keep 4-3 but from what I hear the Bottler nearly bottled it after being 3-1 up, and then needed a very lucky black to take the final frame - unlucky, Stez!)

pete won

eddy still to play ..
