Sorry I didn't put up a better fight against Simon. And you do him a disservice - I didn't get any frames off him! I think yet again I was suffering from Sunday syndrome - not to take anything away from Simon though he outplayed me at every opportunity.
That at least keeps us within reach of Rileys Red Devils, so all is not yet lost.

I don't know why because he seems to play well in the other leagues but when it comes to this one he doesnt seem to be able to get a good run of wins together.
I admit i cant see us catching them as they have a game in hand against us, our only hope is that we get good results against The Shelley and Rileys B and they lose heavily along the way.

I think malc has got his calculations wrong here, according to the sunday league website we should now stand at 38 pts and rileys c at 35. Not sure on the other teams. Malcy........................would you like a new calculator?
Have just checked the sunday website, and i think its wrong on there aswell! We only had 31 pts going into the double header on sunday and rileys c had 32. Someone correct me if i'm wrong but i'm not the only one who is thinking this.

Following the results from last night, the champions of Section One are Rose Hill SC and the champions of Section Two are Crown House B.
Any of Rileys Red Devils A, Crown House A, Rileys C or Shelley Arms A could take the runners-up spot in Section One, with A1 Pool Hall battling it out with East Oxford Con Club A in Section Two.
Most Wins in Section One looks to be heading Adam Brown's way but Nathan Ball and Malcolm Lewis are just one win behind.
Section Two is more open with some missing results however Kenny Saunders currently tops the list over Will Cooper and Rhys Freemire.

Coming into the final few fixtures Rose Hill SC are champions of Section One with either Rileys Red Devils A or Crown House A taking the runners up spot.=, although potentially Rileys C or Shelley Arms A could win enough points to get second.
Most Wins is going to be between Adam Brown and Malcolm Lewis with Nathan Ball just one win behind.
Section Two is just about all resolved with the exception of a couple of rearranged matches which don't affect the top three teams. Crown House B are champions with A1 Pool Hall just pipping East Oxford Con Club A by a single point.
Rhys Freemire wins the Most Wins trophy with 14 of 16 wins.
Currently 12 people will receive an 8 Ball Trophy for recording a Break & Clear:
Adam Brown, Andrew Gee, Anil Sundar, Dan Stockwell, Dan Malone, Jamie Power, Jason Buck, Mark Cooper, Max Emery, Nathan Ball, Peter de Banks & Ross Gibson.
But there remain a few matches for those currently without!
