Awful, awful, awful.......don't know what went wrong last night . Well played, White House......but someone has to do something with that table. It was just unplayable at times last night!
We actually played pretty well and should have got several more frames. I was a bit gutted to come away from my match empty handed, as I played some good shots. Its a pity I followed them up with crap ones!

I had the dubious pleasure of playing on the Kite's table last night. Nicki was short of a player. Played badly and lost 3-0, but if that table isn't the worst in Oxford then I don't know which is! How about a 6 inch roll across the table for starters? One of the home team players must have apologised for it about a thousand times!
Well put Jaz! Everyone is made aware that the standard of the tables is poor, most player don't give a monkey, plus it makes things interesting as it a case which team can get the most point on the crappy tables.
As for the Kite table it had been know as the worst table in but Hollybush took it's title as worst table 2009, however this year it choose call between the Kite & White House as the worst table. I would like to say the boys from Kite B do try and straighten it the best they can before match unlike Kite A who moan about the it, but then Kite A can't mind too much as they have been playing from Kite for the last 3 years, lol
Only the Demos has a good table as the Hollybush Table has speed cloth that rolls to the left and the George table speed cloth and dead balls.
It all good fun, that's what the Tuesday League is about a light-hearted drinking pool league.
Abolish the pool and just have a light hearted Tuesday drinking league where 3 man teams representing a given pub travel to a rival pub for an evening of drinking which isn't interupted by having to hit balls around a table.

I'd almost 100% agree with you there. I'm not trying to defend our own table under any circumstances. We do try to level it but it just seems to have moved every time we return to the Pub. My vote still goes the White House though.......
And what was that I read about this being a fun, light-hearted league? Fun? Yes. Light-hearted........?
