KEYS STUN RILEYS!

Cross Keys 6 - 4 Rileys A

T Keep 0 - 2 B Carroll (1 break and dish for Brian)
M Hearne 2 - 0 P Armitage (1 dish for Matt)
S Keep 0 - 2 L Bland
B Viner 2 - 0 J Street
K Withers 2 - 0 A Bremner

Fantastic performance from the Keys last night! This has to be the biggest scalp we've taken I think! I know it's only one win but I think it meant a lot to the whole team that we managed to pull it off last night. The Rileys players played some great pool, so they didn't throw this away or anything.......we won it and fully deserved it!

You have got to be kidding me................

A whole team of World rules county A players and they lose to a local pub side - stunned I bet they couldn't believe it ! Great result boys........... Not to take away from a fantastic win but to be fair your venue is a tricky place for any team to go.

Um is this the start of the world rules conversion...................... in Oxfordshire !

And lets face it, at the quantities of the stuff you drink, price really is important. Every time the prices go up by 10p a pint it costs you an extra £2 for a night out!

I did say last night it would be 10 - 1 but I had Matty down to win the frame. Their a different kettle of fish when playing on potting tables still you've done what most teams probably won't and thats beat em once !

FAO: MOO

Hate to be picky (or do I?) but the Prem table has a slight error. The 'frames against' for Rileys A and the 'frames for' for the Keys should both be 7, not 6........

Karl if you look at the results for that fixture on the web you will see we are down as losing 10-0 instead of 10-1? maybe thats why?!

Hiya Karl, I had your result down as a loss 10-0 instead of 10-1 Matty spotted my error on Sunday and i knew i forgot to update something when i did updates Mon & Wed. Anyway thanks for the reminder, and anyone spots an error just let know more than happy to look into it.

Crown House B 8 - 5 Cross Keys

P DeBanks 1 - 2 P Hearne
S Taylor 2 - 1 M Hearne
A Penny-Larter 1 - 2 T Keep
L Trinder 2 - 0 B Viner
J Buck 2 - 0 K Withers

Not a bad performance at all from the team last night. I would have liked to have the chance to salvage something for us in the final match up........but not having a single shot over two frames, there wasn't much I could do!

Lets see how they fare on the Keys table next week wink

Come on, you must have had at least one shot, however bad that break might have been!

I don't really class the break as a shot.......but for the sake of technical correctness, yes, I had a shot. It was a safety break which went badly wrong.........wink

Cross Keys 2 - 10 Crown House B

M Hearne 0 - 2 A Stopp
T Keep 1 - 2 S Taylor
S Keep 0 - 2 J Buck
K Withers 0 - 2 A Penny-Larter
P Hearne 1 - 2 L Trinder

Another battering! To be fair I think the scoreline is slightly harsh on us but that's pool! Deserved victory for the House.......

A1 8 v 6 Demos

James 1v2 Steve Jordan
Will
2v1 Ash Street
Browny 2v0 Graham Hornblow
Max 1v2 Marc Reynolds
Jaz 2v1 Paul Carter

Was a bit of a tense decider between Paul and Me, especially when I went 1-0 down and it looked like my team might not even get the draw! We both wasted chances but in the end I was left an easy black in the last frame.
