Who'll win the 2010/11 Abingdon League?
Permalink Closed

No, I never said I had a problem with any team being from Oxford. I was just sarcastically replying to Jamie's comment. It doesn't matter to me whether a team's from Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot or wherever as long as they fall within the six mile radius......apart from the fact that parking is awful at the Crown House biggrin

A slight misunderstanding methinks. Maybe it's Mr Street you need to redirect that post to wink

Also, forgot to mention......I was one of the few people at the EGM, and we all voted FOR allowing Oxford based teams in to the league......

Have you got another day off?  spending it sitting at your computer sat-nav disbelief  hasn't the OXFORD thread got anything interesting going on today hmm

Would just like to point out that Jamie doesn't play in the Oxford league.

You really need to do your research, a Koala Bear's name is derived from an aboriginal word roughly meaning "doesn't drink".

I was thinking that they look furry and cuddly, but catch tourists by surprise by their rather vicious claws!

CROWN "SPANKED" HOUSE 2 - 13 KENNINGTON "SLAUGHTER" CLUB

OW!! ...... censored.gif  B*****KS  censored.gif

Matty hearne disbeliefdisbeliefdisbelief

Shaun Taylor biggrindisbeliefdisbelief

Jamie Saczak biggrindisbeliefdisbelief

Dan Durham disbeliefdisbeliefdisbelief

Phil Hearne disbeliefdisbeliefdisbelief

Our wheels well & truely fell off last night!! confuse, not sure what happened to be honest apart from mostly being out played & not having much luck in some of our frames.
Fact of the matter is we were SPANKED by a good side, well done lads..........Until next time!! evileye

P.S - Anybody fancy having a dig be my guest hmm, all i can say is at least i post our loses, unlike some people who like to run & hide from the forum when they lose biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

KEYS CRASH!

Red Lion A 12 - 3 Cross Keys

To be honest I can't remember who beat who exactly last night as i'm already trying to erase the memory biggrin

T Keep biggrinbiggrincry
S Keep biggrincrycry
K Withers, B Viner and C Viner crycrycry

J Hogan, S Baker biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
D Thomas biggrinbiggrin
A Street biggrinbiggrincry
G Moore biggrin
D Oram biggrincrycry

What went wrong? We didn't play shockingly badly, we weren't plagued by bad luck......I think it was just one of those nights. Fair play to the Lion though, they deserved the victory.....

EDIT: I thought the Crown House only lost 12-3 as well! That  means we got thrashed but still gained a frame last night.......what a bonus wink

Devastating loss last night....but like Matty said at least we can freely talk about our losses...not saying any names. Talking of that did the Oracle win last night? No post so far...

Well played to the Kennington lads....thoroughly deserved your win....good luck for the rest of the season.

Trying to pick out the positives, if there ever is such a time to get spanked, then last night would be it with the singles coming next week. And we could have had a few more frames if we got a bit more rub, but I can't complain about the rub....did I ever think we were going to get any when it was Beefy's team we were playing? Nah.

Yeah considering 6 frames were played with my cue (3 by me and 3 by niki you had no chance - lmao biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

what you moaning about you had a big bit of luck when Pete went in off against you ! Oh and you really need to have a word with a certain person cheering miss fortune - not that we minded it only served to SPUR US ON ! biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

With our next three fixture being wheatsheef home and away followed by the crown house and then Red lion our seasons fate is likely to become clear after those 4 matches !

Any news on the fitzharris arms result???

I honestly think the prem section will now be won by either the midget or the Fitz, unless hazel signs on some more Oxford league ringers!!!!
