No disrespect for your team but the Demo's team posted a very strong line up especially at home on a Decent table

before you think I am having a dig at your table I am merely pointing out on a full size table with unrestricted cueing and normal pockets I would have backed a big win for the Demo's not 13-2 probably more 10-5

Is this the end of the Keys bid for a trophy this season

You make this sound like your surprised - I am not. (I don't sound suprised, I AM suprised. Trust me, last night's score wasn't a true reflection of the Demo's superiority. They were better but not THAT much better. We're just not doing ourselves justice at the moment)

No disrespect for your team but the Demo's team posted a very strong line up especially at home on a Decent table (Yes, almost the SAME line up that we beat 10-5 earlier in the season. The table had nothing to do with that victory)

Im also not having a dig at you cross keys lot but maybe you should all think of retirement!

You all play pool at least 3 times a week in the respected leagues and practice virtually everyday and your clearly no good!!

Where as the fitz team have a talented bunch of lads, good win and it's now going to be tough for us to catch you now but we will keep going til the end!!

As for us all playing 3 times a week - not true! And if we're that crap then you lot must be even worse as I seem to recall us beating you 10-5 as well......AND that was on your own table, so no using the Keys table as an excuse!

Not too sure why people seem to be having a pop at the keys? The only reason i can see is that we lost. If thats the case then i take it as a compliment. Thank you for being concerned that we might of been a threat to you. You have nothing to worry about now because none of us will ever be good enougjh to play for the county even if we tried. I think i better leave my misses and my kids to practice more so i can get up to county z standard

I tried to resist coming in on all this but personally I think that there should be some kind of weighting system in place like in golf as some players get to play lots during the week. Some players are county level and some only get a chance to play on a Sunday. I will play any one and don't get phased by what skill or level they are. If they are better than me then they should win and often do.

I wonder if it is perhaps possible for Kevin to look back on past stats of games played and won who has played who or maybe before the start of the season? If a county player or someone rated high plays a Jo bloggs sunday player and that Joe bloggs somehow wins they should get double points whereas the the good player if they win only get one point.

Contentious? Probably but there is a big divide out there and maybe if the above is not an option the prospect of no county players as it is an amateur pool league?

I don't want to get every one het up with my comments and only my two pence worth.

For the record the Boundary House are under no illusions to the fact Fitz should obliterate us in the TKO forthcoming.

I think its a case of people NOT respecting the Cross Keys players, just because they dont play county doesn't mean there not good enough? In my view & experience of playing for the Keys when weve beaten a so called BETTER team they don't like it because they think the Cross keys are crap & they should beat them anyway furious

lets be honest the Keys have shocked a few BIG teams in the past & will continue to do so in the future.........if you dont like it then Quit biggrin

Also the sections in the league are seperated so each player should be playing someone with a similar standard, but obviously you will get the odd player who really good/rubbish

Also hazel not biting was purely saying there 2 different types of rules. To be honest although EPA is much bigger I clearly don't know how you can play pool and play deliberate fouls? Such a gay rule!

Okay the implication came across that I thought that but to clarify it further I don't at all however I do think that County players are and should be a lot better than non County and perhaps there is a bit of unfair wheighting in that respect? I agree it is perhaps a mute point and indeed the sections should deal with that but they don't fully.

I am way behind you on that. As someone who once did a deliberate foul, though I swear it was unintentional so how it could be classed as such? I don't agree with it. To resort to a DF means you have no imagination and really should not have to do it.
